Title: Changing the startup logo
Post by: Foxdie on April 30, 2004, 02:17:28 am
Well this is a tricky thing to do and I can\'t get it to work.

I removed the symlink in /home/QtPalmtop/pics144/Startup_screen.bmp.bz2 and made it point to /home/zaurus/Documents/Image_Files/Startup_screen.bmp.bz2 which is my custom made bootlogo but it doesn\'t seem to change.

I created a 640x480 full colour image and then rotated it 90\' to the right before bzipping it up but when I reboot I still see the Cacko loading image.

Anyone know what I\'m doing wrong here?

Look into /home/QtPalmtop/qpe/sh script and you\'ll see why it does not work...
