Title: Noptec Interceptor
Post by: xamindar on April 30, 2004, 02:45:45 pm
Has anyone ever seen this before?

http://noptec.com/zaurus.html (http://noptec.com/zaurus.html)

I found it, don\'t know how.  I installed it on my 5600, added a cool little applet icon to my task bar but it complains about a missing nettrap library when I click on it.  I\'m not quite sure exactly what this program does but I was curious.

It also looks like the site was last updated in 2002.

oops,
/me feels stupid.  There I fixed it, sorry.

thanks for the tip.

also about the nettrap lib.  it looks like it did install the lib (libnettrap.so.1.0.0).  Now to figure out why it can\'t find it.  It\'s probably just not in a lib directory.

Erik Agsjö seems to be quite active at freshmeat (last login 2004-03-03). Just ask him...

it seems like some sort of firewall

it said nettrap but acts like a firewall

on my sl-5500 it used up alot of resources

other than that i\'m really not sure how i got it to work cuz i had a ton of libs installed

i\'ll see if i can get it to run again - i did a hard reset

and post my findings
