Title: Where to find good kernel?
Post by: braindrop on May 07, 2004, 07:09:07 pm
Where can I find a kernel for 3.3.5 that has that battery app fixed·?
There was a link to a German site in another thread but it didn\'t work with my wifi card.
Thankyou.

If you mean the battery patch for more fine granular reporting, then it\'s in OZ 3.3.6-pre1 @ http://openzaurus.org/official/experimental (http://openzaurus.org/official/experimental)

What do you have to set in a kernel .config.  So that it would give a better report on the battery remaing?  Or is a software patch to oz?

You can\'t just download the patch. You have to download the whole buildroot repository. All additional information is in buildroot/packages/kernel-collie-2.4.18/Makefile
