Title: StageOne Outliner on C860
Post by: Gazboy on May 08, 2004, 05:29:03 pm
Does anyone know if the StageOne Outliner program works
on the C860 in landscape mode?
Their site says it\'s OK on th C700, but when I try the TRIAL version
on my C860 it does not rotate?

Regards, Gazboy

I have c860 and StageOne works great on it in landscape mode.
IMHO this is a really great app
(along with SafeDee this is the best designed and most useful
Zaurus app I have - I also have IQNotes which is more popular
than StageOne but I personally prefer StageOne due to wonderfull
keyboard shortcuts - no need for stylus at all).
Best regards,
Tom

I have to agree with tg, StageOne is a great app and it works well on the SL-C860 in either portrait or landscape mode. The author has also added icon scaling for people like me that find the regular icons just a bit too small on the higher resolution displays like on the C860. Make sure you\'re using version 3.2.0 for the new features.

You\'ve probably fixed it by now, but I had the same problem.
The fix is to tap and hold the StageOne icon until the Details screen appears. Then uncheck the \"Dispay with magnified screen\" button. Should run fine in both landscape and portrait mode after that. The purchased version works just fine without having to do anything.

I\'ve found that I had to do this with several other apps as well to get them to work properly.

StageOne is a super application. The first Z app I spent money on. As someone mentioned in another thread, there are some very polished apps around, both free and commercial.
