zstyle causes my 5600 with Sharp rom to act unstable. So is there another way to change the font in qtopia to unifont (so I can display japanese characters) or any other font without using zstyle? I know people have said you can just overwrite the helvetica fonts but I\'m looking for maybe a configuration file somewhere.
So anyone know of a good way to change the font in Qtopia.
Cheers,

It\'s not that you can, but you have to overwrite the fonts...
You may try these fonts - http://my-zaurus.narod.ru/fonts.html (http://my-zaurus.narod.ru/fonts.html), maybe you\'ll like them...

In /home/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts/fontdir, if you comment out the Helvetica lines and uncomment the unifont line, Qtopia will default to using unifont (which you have to install). unifont is pretty big, but maybe you can convince Qtopia to use another unicode font instead in the same way.
