Title: XU4 problems : Bus error - anybody got this game running?

I get a bus error when I try to run in commnd line.  What does the error mean?  Anybody got this game running?

not sure about the bus error... unless you have a binary that\'s not for arm?

I have this running under pdaXrom -- it\'s quite nice with the new tilesets, etc.

I downloaded the one from http://inter.zon.free.fr/zaurus_index.html (http://inter.zon.free.fr/zaurus_index.html)

Tower toppler works fine so I think the problem is not SDL.  I installed all the SDL packages but not libmad.  

What packages did you install? Does this require X?

I ran it once before under qt, but I think I had sdl issues... or something.
under X, it seems to run flawlessly.

Managed to compile an u4 binary that works on my zaurus 5600.  It has sound effects but no music.  Does yours have music?

yes, there are midi files, etc.  I haven\'t tried to use them...
most of the time, I\'m listening to mp3s served over nfs while I play.  *GRIN*

I have the C700 and have had a problem getting this to work.  I think it is the LibSDL.  Most of the ones I have found, including some made for the C700, I cannot seem to instal on my Z (I am using the Cacko rom).  Anyone else have this problem and fixed it?  Thanks.

Finally have midi music working.  I needed to download the timidity patches.
