My Z is not powering on for some reason which I dont know yet.
I could get to the service menu (D+M way) and did some checks from the various tests that it has.
NAND check (full) was a success. The number of bad blocks is 0.
I believe the NAND flash is still correct and dont wanna try the NAND reflash as yet before trying other tricks. I have taken backup of NAND on a spare 256 MB SD card that I have.
Now, My guess is that the battery charging is not workin correctly ... sometime back I was getting both battery+ mail lights flashing... I removed the battery and now put it back after again going to the service menu.
My question is about the Battery Voltage Adjust... What does it basically do ?
I tried the check and what I saw is something like this...
Main Bat AD : 28 (0.3 V)
Flash Data : ___
delta: _____
I went to the Battery Adjust Voltage menu, it initially showed me 254 as Main Bat AD.... then I pressed [home] and after some time the value of Main Bat AD was 28. I pressed the [home] again ... and saw \"Writing fail !!!\" below the line ...
If I keep my Z in the same position .... AC power plugged ... now I can see the charging light ON and the Main Bat AD is increasing BUT very slowly...
Can someone tell me whether I can revive (boot) my Z like this ... and what is actually going on ??
really appreciate your help,
thanks in advance,

28 is very VERY low. I think mine is 206? Maybe it refuses to set the waterlimit to something so low (and indeed you don't want to 'teach' it to charge to that maximum). Charge the battery to full externally and then try to set the flash watermark. I plugged the + and - from the external charger directly onto the battery + and -, and kept an eye on it using a multimeter till it reached 4.2V (for a EA-BL08 battery).
