Title: 3.3.6pre1 fails to recognize an 802.11b CF card ??
Post by: dansawyer on May 15, 2004, 02:32:04 pm
All,

The kernel is 3.3.6pre1 on a 5500. The system has been running with a few anomalies for several months. There is one major irretant:

If the 5500 is booted with the 802.11g card installed the card is initialized and works. If the card is logically removed and then physically removed and then re-inserted the card is not recognized. It blinks once with no furthor action.

How can the card be reliably removed and reinstalled?? How can the Zaurus be directed to re-scan for the card??

Thanks,
Dan

The linux command to reinsert a pcmcia/cf card is cardctl insert
See if this works.
