Title: ipkg keeps trying to hard
Post by: macwiz on May 16, 2004, 07:54:50 pm
I get an error in the Add/Remove Software application because ipkg keeps trying to hard. If I run from the command line it recalls that I sometime previously tried to install via network feed a package that perhaps was corrupted on the feed or in transit. It asks if I want to try again (no, I don\'t!) before going on to process my install. The GUI app gets fooled by this and reports that ipkg says something is wrong.

How do I make ipkg forget the failed install, stop bugging me about it, and let me get on with installs without the command line?

Thanks for any info. I am running the latest Qtopia Cacko Rom on a 860.
