Title: Linux and ACPI on the 5600
Post by: mmaxim on November 21, 2003, 09:16:33 am
Can ACPI be implemented/enabled on the 5600. The kernal supports it, but  does the hardware.

I am looking for processor sleep modes and any ACPI compliant devices that will conserve power. I guess the question is what power management scheme is used and if the kernal is ACPI compliant, why is not leveraged.

Thanx
