Title: KA/Pi (KAddressbook Platform-independent) - Update???
Post by: nathanwms on May 18, 2004, 05:36:31 pm
Can anyone (Zautrix, anyone else?) let us know how the porting/conversion of KA/Pi is going?  Not trying to rush the issue but the work on KO/Pi and KA/Pi represents some of the most exciting development work going for the Zaurus and I was just curious as to whether it is close to a beta release.

Also, is anyone else out there working on a project of similar magnitude and/or importance that you\'d like to mention?

Thank you guys for the work you are doing.....it is greatly appreciated !!

I am looking forward to this release as well. I use KO/Pi everyday and I\'m still finding nifty new features. I thought it would be some time before I retired my PocketPC, but KO/Pi made it easy to do.

Looking at the pi-sync website, http://www.pi-sync.net/html/projects.html (http://www.pi-sync.net/html/projects.html) it seems that work has only recently started on the KA Addressbook app, with a completion date of late 2004. Looks as though we have to be patient for a while yet.

the absense of ka/pi is all that has kept me from ko/pi.  No real point in ko/pi (for me) if I still have to use qtopia for half my synking.
