Title: Lack of native Landscape QT Apps/games ???
Post by: Omicron on May 19, 2004, 10:46:26 am
Is there a massive lack of native Landscape QT Apps/games ???

If not, could someone point me at a list or a process (search) to get a list of native (landscape) Clamshell apps and games?

Download section yielded precious little for clamshell landscape.

Seems PDAXRom has quite a few, but do those run in QT Cacko ROM?

Thanks !

1) Where?  All I find are the rotated 5500 versions ....

2) Please note: I am running Cacko QT ROM, are they compatible?

Hi!
1.)
At http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus (http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus)
All the games/emulators i mentioned, except nethack,  use libSDL, so they all can be run in Landscape mode.
Don\'t be worried because of the screenshots or descriptions at killefiz. Most of the apps also run in Landscape Mode on your CXX0. (Even if they\'re made for the SL-5X00 series)
2.)
That\'s good  I also run Cacko QT. Yes, Cacko is a SharpROM, so they are compatible.

Reason being, simply, that the clamshells were never sold (officially) anywhere outside Japan, so not many developers have it (or can afford it to do testing). That\'s another reason why many of the better 640x480 software is japanese or developed by japanese devs.
