Title: terminal issues with sl-5500
Post by: Anonymous on May 21, 2004, 08:14:41 am
Just got my 5500 last night.  Went ahead and upgraded to the latest sharp rom (playing it safe for now) and installed the sharp terminal package.  However, it\'s as if the function-key is constantly depressed.  Type a \'D\' and get a \'#\', type an \'E\' and get a \'3\', etc.  any ideas as to why?  I can type in any other program without a problem, and if I bring up the onscreen keyboard that functions fine as well.

Thanks

Your Fn key isn\'t stuck...your num-lock is on.  Click Fn-Num to unlock it.
