Title: firewall questions

Hello to everyone.

Could someone precise what the impact of a firewall is on an internet sharing connection (pc-zaurus)?

Do i have to open some ports in order to let the z acces the internet?

Does it lead to security pb?

thank you for your answer sepsep, but my (badly formulated...) question was : if i can\'t join the net with my c750, can it come from Drakfire (Mandrake firewall) on my linux box ?
If the answer is yes, what can i do without leading me to security pb ?

Disable your firewall and see if you can then connect. If you can then you get to delve into the wonderful world of iptables.
