Boris,
The only thing that I can think of that would wareout is the light. If you turn that off you should be good to go.

there is a light applet that you can use to turn off the display on the Z.
here\'s the opie version: http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=290 (http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=290)
I\'ll look for the Sharp ROM version
Install that and just leave the Z plugged in but the display off and you should be fine!

you also might want to put a fan on it or something.. it does heat up after a little while (well especially when you\'re using wireless)

I\'d remove the battery as well, constantly keeping it on charge will wear the battery out. Every other component should last a lifetime (assuming you\'ve turned the LCD backlight off too)
Somehow I\'ve managed to get my C760 to boot up without a battery, I think if you take out the battery and lock the lid again but keep it in the cradle with AC power it may just work. If not then you\'ll have to think about buying another battery in the long term if you want to leave it on all the time.

Shouldn’t the charger turn off when battery is full? Sorry for the stupid question...
