Title: Bluez on SL6000
Post by: dstorey on May 23, 2004, 07:52:54 pm
I have been running a SL-5500 for some time with the Bluez stack - works a treat. I have now purchased a SL-6000 and I can\'t get Bluez to run on it at all. I am using a \"Socket CF+ Personal Network Card\" (Rev F). hciconfig just prints nothing.

Has anyone got this combination to work?

Thanks Dominic

A quick search for Bluetooth and 6000 turned up this thread:

Tumnus,

If you ever make another release of the bluez package, maybe you could include a post install script that tests if /etc/pcmcia/bm3.conf exists, and if it does, renames it to /etc/pcmcia/bm3.conf.bak  (if the extension changes, it won\'t hurt anymore).  Then, the post-uninstall script could do the reverse.

That would make it work out of the box for 6000 owners, and stop these questions.
