Title: simulate mouse click
Post by: nihon-jin on May 23, 2004, 10:10:15 pm
I would like to know if there is a way to simulate right-button click.

The program that was recommended on pdaxrom.org just switches between \"mousebuttons\", so when I want to access some menu, I need to press menu button, press \"mouse\" button  by my stilus and than re-switch with menu button, which becomes _really_ annoying.

I would like something that would \"click\" the left-mouse button  on cursor\'s actual position when I press my menu key directly. Is there any application that can do it ?

I believe that you can accomplish this through xmodmap. If you look at /etc/X11/kb/corgi.xmodmap, you will see the currect mappings. If you Google, you will see that there are key mappings that can simulate a button click.
