Title: Opie 1.1.x on Sharp ROM?

The latest Opie feed for Sharp ROM seems to be 1.0.3.  Can Opie 1.1.x run on Sharp ROM?  I\'m especially interested in the new mail3 application mentioned in another topic.

I think the problem is that no one is compiling/packaging opie for sharp rom\'s anymore - I remember Mickeyl asking for volunteers but looks like no one has come forth. If I can get OE to compile with the gcc 2.9.5 cross chain I\'ll package some up, but as yet I7m not having much success and not getting much help from the OE wiki either. Lots of guess work at the moment and very little documentation

As for previous versions, it would need a dedicated feed. The one who produced the 1.0.3 feed claimed he would look into that, but I\'m not sure what\'s the status is. You should ask for this on opie@handhelds.org.

i have some packages working now on SharpROM. For the mail app i have to build the etpan-library
first. As i\'m short in time i cannot say when the mail app will be available. (I\'m interested in this app
too, so it will be the next after PIM)

For your info: i\'m the one who built the 1.0.3 packages for SharpROM
