Title: Outliner?
Post by: macwiz on May 27, 2004, 12:12:36 pm
Are there any outliners for the pdaxrom? I am using Stage One! on the Qtopia ROM and it is holding me back...

A gantt chart app would be good too!

The best outliner I have so far seen is hnb (available here: http://www.pmf.neominds.net/feed/hnb_1.9.1...17_armv5tel.ipk (http://www.pmf.neominds.net/feed/hnb_1.9.17_armv5tel.ipk)).

You can just start typing with it, and it jumps to the next entry beginning with what you just typed or starts a new entry if thers is no matching entry.

What you probably won\'t like is that it has a ncurses-based interface (meaning text-mode; see the screenshot: http://pmf.neominds.net/zfeed.php#hnb (http://pmf.neominds.net/zfeed.php#hnb)).

The file format is in XML, but hnb can export to ASCII, OPML, Postscript, HTML and HTML+CSS.

You have there great programs! Its good that You\'ve told about that feed because I was looking for many feeds and didnt found that one in google.
Send link to zaurus.spy.org.

I like a GUI myself, and Stage One! is brilliant. Perhaps I can contact the author and ask him to do a pdaxrom version.

Haven\'t tried to put it on a Zaurus, but if you\'ve got Python & PyQT, Treeline (http://www.bellz.org/treeline/) ought to be runnable. Soon after my 860 arrives I\'ll be trying to make a go of it. Certainly more fond of it than of hnb - although that\'s good too, Treeline just looks better.
