So... shiny 760, cacko rom (yay!), all goes well until I try to install the vanille.de python distribution. Turns out it requires ipkg-new...
Go to killefiz.de, but the ipkg package there does not install, with pretty much the same error from the shell... Could it be it requires ipkg-new to install ipkg-new?
Scoured the web left and right, oh where oh where can i get an ipkg-new that i can install on my 760?
Gracias!

You do not need ipkg-new to install Python on the Sharp-based ROMs.
The packages from the following page work fine for me:

Correct...however carrerars911 has a very valid point. ipkg-new is nowhere to be found. The link was updated with the OZ feed...however, the ipk is an OZ ipk...so you can\'t use it on a Sharp ROM. It would be very nice if someone had the Sharp IPK version and posted it on this site in the downloads section. I must admit frustration to not being able to install certain packages because I cannot ipkg-new anything
