How do i get out of Qtopia and into console?

By console I assume you mean command line, i.e Terminal, so I just downloaded qkonsole from http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1667 (http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1667) and started from there, so I didn\'t need to get out of Qtopia.

In addition to downloading one, there should also be a terminal app on the CD that came with your 5500.

Also, one is included with OpenZaurus if you decide to go that route.

Go to shutdown and choose "terminate Qtopia".  When it drops to a prompt and starts counting down hit the "/".  Now it should drop to a  > prompt.  Hit the "A" key and you will have a console.   I think I've got a link detailing this at home.  I'm at work now without my bookmarks or my sl5500.    If you need it I'll doublecheck that when I get home later.
