Post by: mantaray on December 01, 2003, 10:45:27 am
Hi there,

My friend have a SL-B500 (SL-5600 in Japanese Version) but now is
password protected because someone play with it. When he asked his
friend for the password, unfortunately also forgotten the password. Now his Zaurus like a junky, can not be used at all because it always asking for the password by displaying like a calculator panel with its numerical
keyboard. we did perform hard reset, pull out the battery for a few days, and it is still asking. Any suggestion? Looking forward for your pro answer. Thank  you.  :? [/quote]

the only thing you can do is reflash the ROM.

I\'m not sure where the original japanese Sharp ROM is located... so I can\'t help you there

You could do a format on it by hitting the reset in the battery compartment, press ok & on, then choose reset. This should take it back to a \"fresh load\" state.
