Title: Ambicom wireless and the Cacko 1.18 ROM
Post by: happicow on December 02, 2003, 10:12:30 pm
Just curious.  Any other users running the Cacko 1.18 ROM on an SL-C7x0 experiencing problems with the Ambicom WL1100C-CF card?  This card works wonderfully in OpenZaurus 3.3.5, but the cacko rom does not recognize it.  I downloaded the ROM from the zaurususergroup.com\'s download area.  Other than that I have had no problems.  Is there a trick to making it recognize the card properly?  I have been unable to find any other posts regaurding this combination.

Hi,

You sound like the person I need to chat with!

I have a C860 running OpenZaurus 3.3.5.  I have the Ambicom WL1100C-CF card.

How in the heck do I get it to work.  I was able to get it to work with the original, production SHARP ROM.

Since you say it works wonderfully for you in OZ 3.3.5, would you care to share your secrets?

Thanks a bunch!

before I flashed to the x11 rom recently, I had the cacko 1.18 rom installed... and it worked perfectly with my ambicom cf wifi card... I just popped in the card, and that was it.

I wonder why the same card wouldn\'t work on your z?

what do you get when you do a cardctl ident?
