Uploaded to the pdaX unstable feed.
http://www.pdaxrom.org/ipk_feed.php?showfeed=unstable (http://www.pdaxrom.org/ipk_feed.php?showfeed=unstable)
More info about Slypheed claws here: http://sylpheed-claws.sourceforge.net/features.php (http://sylpheed-claws.sourceforge.net/features.php)
Includes a dillo plugin to view your html formatted emails and an image viewer plugin to view attached images (I haven\'t tested the image viewer). The image viewer plugin required gdk-pixbuf, available in the unstable feed too.

what\'s the diff between sylpheed and thunderbird?

Sylpheed is lighter and faster. Thunderbird uses gtk2, which also slows it down.
Sylpheed in the stable pdaX feed is different (and much lighter) from the \'claws\' version. Check out the link above to see the differences.

When I try to start the claws version of sylpheed I get an error message that libgmodule-1.2.so.0 is missing. Which package do I have to install to get this library installed?
Thanks for any reply!

ftegen: Make sure you have gtk and glib installed.
I\'ve been sloppy setting up dependencies in my ipks, mostly because I assumed since most of the packages are on a different feed they would not be downloaded automaticly like they would if you installed something from the stable feed using the package manager. In the next week or so I\'ll repackage everything I have compiled you will at least get a warning telling you what packages you need to install.

Wow nice one. I ditched Thunderbird because it was too slow.
Slypheed (claws) however does everything I need and fast enough.
Thanks Corey.
On the dependencies, yes it would be nice to fix these so the installation becomes simple for the likes of me.

Is it possible to make a selective download with this version? (Preview the headers of the mails on the server and mark only the mails you want to download and keep the rest on the server) I thought that this is a feature of Sylpheed-Claws but I couldn´t find it in the software.
