Any feedback about YAR, I plan to try it this weekend

 And can anyone tell me how to enable handwriting input on Hybrid/qtopia1.6.2

You need to install it - I tried it recently using an ipk.  I tried

Unfortunately, I could pop-up the writing area, but it didn't work properly and wouldn't register in any applications.  I was having other problems with packages though, so it might not have been the program itself.  You could give it a try.  If it doesn't work - maybe you can find another version, or I hear there are ways of extracting built-in applications from the Sharp Rom...
