Hello,
I am building a custom kernel and I want to change the red Sharp on gray background with the japanese characters at the bottom. I basically want to edit the current image...and replace the japanese characters with english (what can I say, I am a perfectionist). I figured out that I can use some linux utilities to build a linux_logo.h, but this means I must have the Sharp logo, etc already in PNG format. What I want to do is have a utility read a linux_logo.h file and spit out a PNG. Is there such a utility out there that will do this (i.e. reengineer a linux_logo.h to PNG)?

Back to Windows applications....Try Photoshop...
I recently toyed around with making my own screen saver icons and wall paper for my Z...I\'ve done some manipulation to get certain file formats into other programs to then convert to the file format I\'ve needed....
Photoshop allows you to do many things to change your picture, add what you need, it is done in a layer format, and then save your file as a *.png format and get the right size taht your need.
Let me know if I can help....
