I am a Zaurus newbie. I just received my Zaurus C860 from AudioCube. It did not come with the English Translation. I tried to manually convert it - All seemed well, until I REBOOTed the system. When the system came up, the Touch Screen no longer works. All other functionality seams to work.
Do I need to restore from http://www.trisoft.de (http://www.trisoft.de) or what? (No, I\'m stupid and did not run a NAND Backup prior to making the changes).
Is there a Easy way to convert from Japanese to English?
Any suggestions would be beneficial.....

The easiest way to get things back to where they were is to erase/format the flash. This will erase everything you did and reset the Z to factory default.
Or if you want to go to solely English - no Japanese fonts or dictionaries then the easiest is to flash with Cacko ROM.
If you want English menus but stilll want to enter Japanese and use the Japanese dictionaries and tanslator then you can use my script (after you have reset of course). The script is posted here (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1462&highlight=)

toddyo, if you don\'t need Japanese get Cacko 1.21 and then install hotfix b. It\'s the business, all the crap cut out of the japenese rom and it\'s totally converted to english. you\'ll like, i believe we all do.
