Title: Potentially stupid question

Now I\'m certain I\'m missing something very obvious here, but can you run Desktop Linux apps on your zaurus with pdaxrom? If not, can somebody direct me to a tutorial showing how you can recompile them. This could be a decision maker to see how difficult it is!
I only ask this because I see all these apps like Mozilla on the Zaurus and I was wondering how difficult it would be to port some more apps!

There are no stupid questions.
You cannot run desktop application on zaurus. You have to recompile them first to use ARM CPU.
Teorically you can compile everything from desktop if you have sources and most linux programs have also sources to download.
Even quite sophisticated apps like GIMP are compilated into zaurus so I think If you need something You can try to compile it.
I dont have any idea how to do this but on pdaxrom.org under downloads section you can download SDK.
If you are familiar with programming and compiling it will help you compile apps for Z. If you like me dont have idea how to do it options are : wait for somebody else , ask somebody or learn howto. I hope In future somebody could provide howto compiling for Z.
