Title: Coreutils / od
Post by: Anonymous on June 16, 2004, 03:49:55 pm
Hi all.
I\'m trying to compile an app and I\'m supposedly missing \"od\" from coreutils. Being new to the Zaurus  and Linux in general, I\'ve not been able to compile either coreutils or od seperately.
Does anyone know of / have a binary od known to work on a 5500?

Thanks

You can find a copy of od for the zaurus in a package called \"armutils.tar\".  There are copies all over the \'net.  A quick google shows that you can find one here:

Odd that the compilation wants od -- it is the octal dump program & usually used to display a binary file in human readable form, not usually for machine automation.
