Title: New Sharp ROM 1.40JP for SL-C860

There\'s a new ROM available for those still using the original Sharp ROM with their SL-C860. You can get it here:

can someone tell us what\'s new about this rom , for those who don\'t understand japanese ?

Well using a translator gives :

\"Mobile network service [ of KYOCERA communication system incorporated company ] \" KWINS for PDA(Zaurus) It corresponded to \".

FOMA P2402 correspondence software It を収録(ed).

Mail update software It を収録(ed).

This phenomenon has been improved although there was a case where it became impossible to write in SD card when \"SD card\" was chosen by the \"USB strike REJI system\" by PC link setup.

It enabled it to also input an alphabetic character into the manufacture number input column of on-line user\'s registration software \"it is first.\" \"

The mail update is quite obscure and fixes something specific to a Japanese ISP.

The only bit that \"might\" be of interest imho is the ref. to SD card writing with PC Link.

Never had the problem myself, and it isn\'t very clear in the translation.

FYI, the C860 I got from Keisuke last week has the new Sharp ROM, let me know if there is anything I can check if anybody wants to know...

I will be flashing to Cacko soon.

Can you post SD card driver (sharp_mmcd module) here? Can be usefull as an update...

The new rom's sharp_mmcsd_m.o is identical to the one in Cacko's Qtopia 1.21
