Ok I have it for weeks in my sign but still did\'nt asked ...
Well ... I\'m not a linux guru and I bought my Z thinking I would perfectionate by using linux everytime ... what I did , BUT , a major problem for me in the x11 roms is the lack of any handwriting app ... So I wonder if there is any opensource handwriting app which can be ported to work with pdaXrom ? or even something like FreeNoteQt as the touchscreen is good enough for me to re-read myself ?

Has someone tried if Xstroke works? http://www.xstroke.org/ (http://www.xstroke.org/)
-
I\'m going to try to compile it ... thanks for the information
-
Why do you need a nandwriting when the portrait mode doesn\'t work perfectly? So you have to work in landscape mode where you always have a hardware keyboard....
Am i missing something?
Rgds,

well ... landscape mode is working good enough for me and even if it dont, you can still use the Z closed up even in landscape mode (more convenient while walking IMHO)

so, did anyone compile XStroke? is it nice?

thanks

That's brilliant, thanks Scott! I just added the jabbath feed to my ipkg, installed xstroke, and it worked perfectly. Took me a little while to realise I had to click on the titlebar of an application to write in it though!

We are currently testing an onscreen keyboard / handwriting for the next release.
