Title: OZ3.5.1 Image Help
Post by: agosine on June 21, 2004, 12:46:22 am
I\'m trying to figure out how to build a 3.5.1 image and not understanding anything.  I\'m not really a programmer, but trying to learn.  Is there someone who\'s willing to share their compiled image or a site with a current image build?

Are you using OE?

I\'m also starting to build an image (well I thought it\'d have built over the weekend, but it seems that if you don\'t delete the cached oe file it takes forever). I\'d be interested to hear from others too (to try and avoid mistakes before I make them).

Can someone send me the gnu-config-native package? my corporate firewall restricts access to extern cvs repositories.

Code: [Select]
NOTE: package gnu-config-native: build started

NOTE: package gnu-config-native-cvs-r0: task do_fetch started

NOTE: Fetch cvs://anoncvs:@savannah.gnu.org/cvsroot/config;module=config;method=ext;rsh=ssh

ssh: connect to host savannah.gnu.org port 22: Connection timed out

cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

NOTE: Task failed: Fetch failed: config

ERROR: package gnu-config-native-cvs-r0: task do_fetch failed

ERROR: TaskFailed event exception, aborting

ERROR: package gnu-config-native: build failed

ERROR: Build of gpe-image failed

Check http://www.treke.net/oe (http://www.treke.net/oe) which is our official source mirror.

I don\'t think the source mirror contains the packages which go to the \"downloads\" directory.

Is there still a huge tarball available? Though I have a Linux box up on the net, it often has to be disconnected (as it\'s \'borrowing\' our print server\'s IP address).

A big tarball would be easiest.
