In my quest to be able to beam files to my Palm Vx, which my girlfriend has started using 8-) i came across XIRCP for PDAXROM.
I installed it on Cacko and when i tried to run it on X/QT i got this message which I also got stuck with when trying to running ABIWORD earlier today...
ln -s libgtk-1.2so.0.9.1 /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 but i still get the same file not found... my path in x/qt for LD_Library... points to
/home/Qtpalmtop/lib/
Then using the command line version ircp which i also got in that package it gives me Connecting... Failed immediately when i run it from any console. I tried turning on beam receive for no good reason in Cacko but to no avail... Any suggestions? Does ircp try to connect to /dev/ircomm or do i need some library, etc that i don't have???
