Hi all
I just went out and bought a [Linksys] WCF12 wifi cf card, and the zaurus seems to not detect it at all. No kernel messages about it (checked using dmesg), no icon, no nothin. I am using the latest cacko rom+hotfix b. Anyone have any suggestions?
TIA
Dave
edited to correct the brand name - I bought a d-link wap at the same time and mixed myself up! The card is a Linksys WCF12

Do you mean the D-Link 660W or the Linksys WCF12?

Ack, sorry the linksys - I bought a d-link wap at the same time so got myself mixed up!

The WCF12 works out of the box with Cacko 1.21b. If you are using some other Sharp based ROM you can remove the manfid line for the WCF12 in /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf.
Try searching the forums for "WCF12 wlan-ng.conf"
Hope this helps,

Well, I've now tried it in both cacko1.21b and pdaXrom 1.0.5, and no go. cardctl ident lists no cards inserted, dmesg says nothing about card inserts, etc. I think this card is a dud but I have no other machine to try it in... I haven't tried the cf port on the zaurus yet (just got it 3 days ago), so it may be that the cf doesn't work at all... argh... anyone have any suggestions?
