Post by: scoutme on July 06, 2004, 08:41:31 am
Hi all,
are there any heroic zaurists who would like to share their knowledge to achieve this hard task? I want to collect enough info to build an usb host for my zaurus, maybe using a cheap pci usb host components or similar.

If anyone knows anything usefull, hints or tech info, please post

I already have a post about looking for a way to use the usb client side to be a host on my Z...

You won't be able to use pci usb components, that is the problem. If you could then you could just use a CF->PCMCIA adaptor and use a cardbus usb host.

CF > PCMCIA can only use ISA bus and as far as i know there is no USB host for these... except maybe the RATOC card has one I presume.
