Title: xmms problems

i can't get xmms to run on my zaurus 5600 (default sharp rom). it installs, but when i try to launch it from the desktop shortcut, it never starts (the icon changes to it's "pressed" state, then reverts to normal, but the program doesn't start). anyone know what this could be?
