Title: too long suspended freezes my C750
Post by: zaphod on July 07, 2004, 01:38:37 am
When I leave my C750 suspended for more than 2 days, it does not wake up properly.  Taps place the mouse cursor, but it is impossible to click anywhere.  Also, the keyboard  does not work.   I can suspend and wakeup by holding the button on the back of the zaurus, but the keyboard still doesn't work and it is impossible to click.  After rebooting (by taking the battery out and putting it back) everything appears fine. This has happened to me twice after leaving the Z suspended for more than 2 days. I have the latest pdaxrom.

that's what you get for leaving your Zaurus all alone for a long time!

I'm afraid this happens for most people.  I can usually last more than two days (by using the xset +dpms that's been mentioned here loads), but after a week, it's always requiring a reboot.

Something in the power saving code is broke, god knows what though.
