Title: FreeNoteQt strange eraser
Post by: ZDevil on July 08, 2004, 12:19:16 am
Hi all,

I spotted one strange behaviour in FreeNoteQt on my C860 (Sharp ROM).  Whenever I remove some inputs using the eraser, the marks reappear when swtiching back to the pen mode, even after saving the file.  So far the only safe way not to spoil the record is to input very carefully and use undo immediately after recognizing a mistake.

Just wonder if you've also come across the same problem.   Thanks in advance.

The eraser is also a move/copy tool. You use the eraser to select what you want. To delete it, push the enter button. If you want to move it, just drag it around. To copy, use the copy button. It's a bit of a non-standard way of doing things, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine.

Thanks, zxerx!

I just got the program without the readme file, so I was thinking the eraser functions intuitively like other similar apps for handhelds.

The original readme:
http://www.urban.ne.jp/home/kanemori/zaurus/freenote_e.html (http://www.urban.ne.jp/home/kanemori/zaurus/freenote_e.html)

This notetaking app is the best one I've used for all platforms (palm, ppc, zaurus), plus it takes full advantage of Z's VGA resolution.  In a word, it rocks!
