Hi, I'm hoping for some help. My touchscreen has suddenly stopped working. There is no response whatsoever when I tap the screen. It was working fine when I last used it a few days ago, and I haven't done anything to it since.
Any ideas?

What Zaurus and ROM do you have? Have you rebooted? Have you installed anything like XFree?

Hi tumnus, I have the Cacko rom, and haven't heard of this XFree but will search for it now. I think I'm going to re-install the ROM and see if that works...
very strange!
(I'm not too panicky yet since I figure it's a software thing...)

Oh sorry it's the C860 Zaurus

I had the same problem in sl6000L. I tried uninstalling softwares one by one to see which created the problem and by doing so, I found that the vnc server (i don't remember the version), was giving me the headache. So my suggestion is try to uninstall the sofware one by one with the help of keyboard. Eventually, the touch screen should work. Please also refer to

I've had this happen with my 6000L a couple of times, and I tired a lot of things to get it right again. So many things I forget what worked. But I think a format from the BIOS screen (or whate ever it is called) is what did it.
