The uploads section DOES work.  Currently you have to be logged into the main site in order to upload files, which is a pain in the ass... which is why I'll change that to allow for anonymous uploads.

When you do get to the upload page, it says that the max upload filesize is 20mb.  This is incorrect, because the default limit for uploads in php is 2mb.  I'm going to change the downloads module back to 2mb.  I don't really think we need to allow for large files to be uploaded via the site.  It would just take away precious resources from the forums.

The report feature works as well... the admins ARE getting the report emails.  I'm not sure why the site is giving that error.  This is something that I'm looking into.

omicron- I'm thinking that you just don't understand what the proper use of the  "report" function is...

You DO use the report button to report to the admins an improper or abusive post.  This allows the admins to correct the situation relatively quickly (as all four of us get an email with the report).

You DO NOT use the report button to let the admins know about a post in the site/suggestions/feedback forum that you want looked at immediately.  Your post in the proper forum is sufficient enough.

If you need more clarity on this issue, please let me know.

I think BOTH issues were becuase no Login.

I figuree the REPORT was a quick way to get your attention.  Bad lazy me.

I won't use it for that anymore.

Personally, I think a 10MB  limit is much more flexible than 2MB....I mena 2MB is very small in today's world of 100+GB disk drives.   I think the bandwidth would be negligible since it would generally not be a stampede to download anything.

Regards.

I tried upload section again, and I was logged into the main site.
I did 2 tests.
Fist I tried to upload 890880 bytes (870KiB) long file and it didn't work. Firefox error says: document contains no data. Links error was broken pipe.
Then I tried with smaller file, it was 264038 bytes (258KiB) long and it uploaded well.
It's far away from the 2MiB limit.
Am I doing something wrong?

Keep in mind that the files you upload are not immediately available for download.  An admin needs to approve the upload first.

I see two files in the approval queue from you:

xmms_embedded_libs.tar
libglib-2.0-0_2.4.1-r0_arm.ipk

I'm not sure why you are getting the 'pipe error', but I've been able to upload files with firefox (0.8) just fine.
