Title: Perl in ROM
Post by: gdog on July 27, 2004, 12:11:18 am
Be getting my 6K tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if Perl is installed in the Linux build that comes on it? Suppose I'll find out tomorrow for sure, but am curious to know

Thanks,

gdog

Thanks Stu. Guess that will be the first package I install.

Oh, and because this will be my first Zaurus, where can I find ZS1?

I suggest you use dev-img 1.5 (you can find it here among ZUG downloads). it includes (almost) everything you need to compile programs onboard (including perl 5.6)

Is that a ROM build? Or a gcc compiler?
