Hi, can anyone point me to a howto/tutorial on getting bluetooth working with OZ 3.3.5? I tried following a tutorial involving the affix bluetooth stack but it complained about me having the wrong kernel package installed. I then tried using bluez but when I install it to /mnt/ram it doesn't create any symlinks to / and some of the files talked about in the howto on the bluez site don't seem to exist.

Just noticed that the howto I was reading is marked obsolete, but the readme it seems to point to doesn't actually contain any relevant information. I found the bluez-zaurus package in the zug feed and that appears to have installed fine, and the zaurus now sees the cards as an "LSE039 Bluetooth Compact Fl" [cut off by edge of screen] instead of an "unsupported card". But I'm not sure where to go from here.
[Edit: I played around some more and got it running hcid and finding my T610 with hcitool scan. So everything seems to be working now ]

Hi Elleomea,
Please could you tell me more about what "messing around" you did to get Bluetooth working? I'm also using OZ 3.3.5 (on a 5500), and also got problems with files missing after installing the "bluez-zaurus" package. The Z seems to recognise my BT card (a "no-name" model - ID: BT0100M - which I was sent instead of the Blue Monkey card I ordered), but doesn't appear to go any further with it.
I'm hoping my BT card is compatible with my setup, otherwise I may have to return it to where I bought it from. Any help you can give would be much appreciated
Thanks,
Tim

tawalker,
I've got a similar bluetooth card to yours, and have been trying to get it working, the only relevant info that i've found recently is here (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2363&st=0entry35281). If i get it working, i'll post back again.
