Hi,
I've just purchased a pocketop keyboard via eBay, but now I am unable to download a driver for my SL5500, as the irk site appears to be offline and the ZUG page for this driver returns 404 error
Does anybody have a copy of the driver (or the official Pocketop driver) that they can let me have?
Many thanks,
Arnie

Sorry, I was away for the weekend and forgot to power the server back on when I got back....
The IRK page should be back up again now.
Don't bother with the Pocketop "official" driver - it's just an older version of IRK (I know, I wrote it).

Thanks!
Your domain name seems rather appropriate
BTW, the keyboard appears not to work in Konsole. Is this correct? Does konsole bypass qtopia?
-
Also, it doesn't work in the address bar in Opera

I know this doesn't help, but IRK does work in both those apps....I'm not sure what's happening on your particular Zaurus but I've never heard of it not working in Konsole before (I use it there all the time). It won't work if you exit qtopia and revert to the pure text-only console, but it should work fine within the qtopia app Konsole.....

That's what i was hoping you'd say!
Forgot to say that I'm running OZ 3.2, with Opie upgraded to 1.0.3.
The problem appears to be fixed, by removing "fast load" from konsole, then re-enabling it. Maybe it needs to rehook into the input device before it will work.
This is doubly odd as I rebooted before, to get the IRK option to appear on the taskbar!

i thought that the pocket top used an irda driver to interface with the kbdsim.o kernel module, then it would work with everything (like vnc) by just sending keys to /dev/kdbsim

I installed the IRK driver..How are you supposed to access it?
Do you set IRD to recieve?
Thanks
