Title: Zaurus models available in japan?

Hi, one of my friends is visiting japan in about two days, and i just want to ask any guys who are from japan, about what to buy and what are available, I would like,
1. zaurus sl6000 or c860 or c760,
does anyone know the prices of the above models and if they are available in japan.

I got an 860 from sofmap in akihabara for 55000 yen, which is WAY cheaper than the standard price in the big stores (~70,000Y). I think it was remaindered stock or something, it only had a 1 month warranty but was brand new and has worked fine.

I have a friend who should be going to Japan at the end of August as well.  I'm asking him to pick up a 860 for me.  So is Akihabara the best place?

Yes. Akihabara is definitely the best place for buying a Zaurus.

If you can handle the japanese, www.kakaku.com is handy for finding low prices - but it is not 100% reliable and did not list the sofmap store (which I found entirely by chance, and was slightly cheaper than anything kakaku listed). There are also on-line translators of course.

akihabara is not always quite the cheapest but has a huge range of stuff.
