Hi,
I\'m trying to get my Ambicom CF wi-fi working with OZ 3.3.5 on the C860.
Any hints?
I get a solid green power light and the OZ pops up a text box saying a WiFi card was recognized.
Now what?
Thanks!

Sounds like the card is working and everything.. ya just need to configure for your network setup. All that can be done in Settings tab-]Network-]802.11b-]Configure. Good luck!

the strange thing is that the interface for the 802.11b is saying \"usbd0\". This is under the 802.11b (usbd0) 192.168.129.201 connection in the Network settings.
I have ESS-ID to \"any\", DHCP enables, and WEP disabled.
Seem right?

download the newest hostap modules. that should get it going.

Not sure what is going on, but it shouldn\'t be usbd0 - that\'s for the serial port on your Z, and 192.168.129.201 is the default IP for the serial port/docking station. It should get assigned to either eth0 or wlan0. Maybe your card isn\'t getting recognized properly? Try typing in \'cardctl info\' in the console to see if it reports your card properly (for me, it says something like PRODID_1 = \"Wireless LAN\", etc.). You might have to do something like in http://www.zaurususergroup.com/modules.php...lessCardSupport (http://www.zaurususergroup.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpWiki&file=index&pagename=WirelessCardSupport) , adding an entry to /etc/pcmcia/hostap_cs.conf? Might also be an 860 specific bug. Sorry I can\'t help more. :? GL!

thanks again for the continued help!
I reflashed with OZ 3.3.5.
I inserted the card and performed the \"cardctl info\" as suggested.
I think this part is normal.
I get:
PRODID_1=\"AmbiCom\"
PRODID_2=\"WL1100C 802.11b CF-Catd\"
i will look at the link you suggested and see what\'s up.
At least I have a hostap_cs.conf!
