Title: Best place to buy Wireless CF in Europe?
Post by: steliosx on August 04, 2004, 04:16:02 pm
Hi,

I was wondering if anybody had success in finding cheap wireless 802.11b CF cards in Europe, (im in Greece basically) - as I have seen unbelievable prices in hsn.com ( which is only for US  )

Any pointers would be more than welcomed!

Thanks a lot in advance.

From the forum it seems that the best card is the one from Socket
(where best means draws less power). However many WiFI cards work well
with the zaurus (probably all that are based on the prism2 or the orinoco
chipset). I have the ambicom WL1100C and it works fine.

Failing that, an Origo card from ebuyer is a nice option (in that it works well with the Zaurus, and is the cheapest card money can buy).
