Has anyone tried this yet? It looks so cool...

I don't know which one for Linux I would download... (I use qtopia w/ my c860)

It's closed source and uses a proprietary protocol, so you're reliant on the Skype developers to make a version that'll work with QT/Embedded and is compiled for ARM processors.

I'm bumping this topic up again, as they seem to have a mechanism that allows users to suggest new functions, versions, etc. which I just found out about.
This function works by registering a vote for your specific request at a 3rd party website which then communicates with Skype. This means that anyone who can mobilize enough people to "vote" for their specific request will get it. As of right now, there are 17 people who have voted for a version for the Zaurus (that's way too low), so I'd urge those who want this software released on the Zaurus to vote for it.
