Title: Text Editor "Notes" Data storage
Post by: Windrose on August 13, 2004, 11:23:16 am
This question has to do with the Text Editor application that ships with the standard Sharp Rom/Qtopia software on the SL-5600. The editor accepts two different kinds of document, "standard" text files with a .txt extention and something it calls "Notes" which are handled differently. Notes are stored in a list indexed by the first line of the note together with a created date.

My question is, where are the Notes stored in the Zaurus file structure? It's not at all obvious after an hour or so of strolling through the file tree.

Thanks,
Windrose

Ne'mind. It's stored in arcane binary format as SLMEMO.BOX and SLMEMO.IDX in home/zaurus/Applications/dtm/
