I would love to try the OZ ROM on my SL-C860 but I cannot see it is supported. Is this so?
When I got to the download page and saw the drop down menu to see the list of devices the C860 was not there. If I choose the C700 then it allows me to download two files. 1 the zImage and 2 the initrd-gcc3.bin file. But where is the updater.sh file?
Thanks
Phill

It's carefully hidden ;-)

P.S. You'll need to read the readme (which of course everyone does ;-) to decide which files you need and what to name them.

I'm currently trying the pdaXrom out, but I must admit I miss Opie - much faster and has all the apps I want (whereas pdaXrom has undefinied symbols errors at the mo and not much in the feed). No doubt these failings will be fixed in the fullness of time.
OZ can also use GPE as its GUI - this is X11 with Matchbox much like pdaXrom, and it remains compatible with OZ packages and has a more up to date libc. There was a link for an early release on the forum (try a search for GPE if you're interested), but it is very much work in progress.
Take a look at openembedded.org (and at the mailing lists) if you're interested in progress etc.

Opera 6 works (7.2 might, but I've not tried it).
After installation you need to do:
ln -s /opt/QtPalmtop/opera /usr/share/opera
So that the icons will appear.
