Title: Syncing silent/loud alarms with Z's datebook

I've been wondering why syncing Outlook with OZ's datebook _always_ results in "silent" alarms on the Z even if I set an alarm in Outlook.

I've read https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kitchensync/...ary/000129.html (https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kitchensync/2004-January/000129.html) and learned that syncing different types of alarms (silent/loud) are not supported by OPIE, yet.

Is there a workaround to get this to work? In my case I almost always need "loud" alarms on my Z. Silent alarms while having my Z in my pocket or not having my Z in range of vision is a pain.

Well, to answer my own question, here's a fix:

Read http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1012 (http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1012), download the patch for Intellisync, copy the DLL to your Intellisync install dir on windoze (backup and overwrite the existing DLL) and - yay! - alarms are set to "loud" on your Z when syncing next time with Outlook.

You will have to delete the datebook.xml on your Z and do a "fresh" sync to get rid of the old, silent alarms on your Z.
